We Welcome Volunteers!

It takes a lot of people to deliver the July 4 festivities in Bel Air, from the flag raising ceremonies to the fireworks at night.
Our events are organized and managed by citizen volunteers of all ages, both through booster clubs or service organizations and directly through the Bel Air Independence Day Committee.
We especially need help with the parade. We need:
- Marshals who organize the units, place them in order, give them instructions and accompany them down the parade route!
- Banner Carriers who carry our many sponsor banners in the parade, preceding bands and units!
- Flow Controllers who are positioned at key spots along the 1-mile parade route, to make sure units are aware of the roads and that the lanes remain clear!
- Gatekeepers who are positioned at the staging area entry points and must make sure that people and units enter at the correct place and are directed to the pre-determined spot!
- And more!
