ABOUT THE JULY 4 PARADE!
Our next parade is Thursday evening, July 4, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm. Our theme for 2024 is Bel Air – the Next 150 Years! — in honor of 2024 being 150 years since the Town of Bel Air was incorporated, and so we look forward to the next 150 years to come!

How to Join the Parade!
The Bel Air Independence Day Committee has a vision of how our parade should look and feel. Participants in our parade are required to present themselves in a manner that is consistent with this vision.
First and foremost, we encourage all parade applicants to consider in advance how to "decorate" or craft their entry to conform not only to the general theme of an Independence Day Parade, but to the specific patriotic theme we choose each year for our parade. In the past, many floats and other units have done a fantastic job of illustrating or embodying our themes — therefore we hope that parade applicants will find ways to illustrate this year's theme in what they plan to do.
Any parade applicant and most especially all parade participants (whose applications have been accepted), are cordially invited to ask any member of the Bel Air Independence Day Committee for ideas or suggestions about this. We love creativity and we applaud those who exercise it!
How to Apply
Your first step in applying to be a part of our parade is to read the complete Parade Rules, which you will find by selecting this link, which will open up in a new window. After reading the rules, you will have the option of returning to this page or proceeding directly to the application form.
We now require ON-LINE APPLICATION FORMS — these are necessary for our database and to make sure we respond appropriately and quickly. Please select this link to open the Application Form.
If you cannot use the On-Line Application Form, or if you have any questions about it, please tell us by using the July 4 Contact Form on this page, or by sending us an e-mail, or by calling 410-879-4245, and we will help you.
Remember — your application will very likely require a fee, according to the Parade Rules. When you send the form successfully, you will be redirected to a page to pay your fee, using PayPal or any major credit card. The committee encourages you to use this feature rather than having to mail in the fee. Remember — your application will not be processed until we receive it. Did You Have Trouble with Our Application Form?
